Batch 1 (2014-2015)

The first batch concentrated on information dissemination to educate the public regarding AAC. The members of this batch has conducted numerous workshops and has produced an informational brochure that can be downloaded by clicking the image below.
Batch 3 (2016-2017)
​
The third batch explored the possibility of establishing an AAC special interest group (SIG) under the Philippine Association of Speech Pathologists (PASP). The members conducted a focus group discussion among the graduates of the AAC course to identify the ideal components of this SIG.
Batch 5 (2018-2019)
​
The fifth batch pilot-tested the AAC assessment protocol designed by batch 4 for Therafree missions.

Batch 2 (2015-2016)
​
Thee second batch wanted to address the myths regarding AAC that the Filipinos may have due to cultural reasons. This is another effort to educate the public regarding the benefits of AAC to develop language in individuals with complex communication needs. View the video below.
Batch 4 (2017-2018)
​
The fourth batch created an AAC assessment protocol for Therafree missions. They also created materials for the conduct of such missions: an AAC screening form, Tagalog manual communication board templates (three levels), and home program manual templates.
Batch 6 (2019-2020)
​
The sixth batch created instructional videos for clients and their family members.

Batch 7 (2020-2021)
​
The seventh batch organized two live webinars to raise awareness about AAC. The first webinar catered to professionals and student clinicians, while the second webinar catered to individuals using AAC and their family members. Batch 8 (2021-2022)
​
The eight batch did two advocacy projects: 1) helping the PASP AAC special interest group (SIG) plan a support group for AAC stakeholders, and 2) designing AAC advocacy materials in local languages. Contact the PASP AAC SIG (pasp.aac.sig@gmail.com) for more information on these projects.
